Will Gate has been working as a general dentist at Derwent Dental Care for the last two years. Alongside dentistry he works with his brother running their family farm in Cockermouth. Will was keen to move back to the area after completing a dentistry degree at Leeds University.

He recently completed a Masters Degree in Oral Surgery at the University of Central Lancaster receiving a Distinction. In addition to providing all aspects of general dental care, he now accepts referrals for Oral Surgery from all local dentists.  

Some of the services Will provides include; Complex surgical extractions, apicectomies, exposure of canines and enucleation of cysts.

Will has completed the British Association of Implant Restorative Dentistry course and will be placing Implants at the surgery from June 2023.
