Paul is the owner and principle dentist at Derwent Dental Care. Since graduating from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 2000, he has settled in West Cumbria and worked in general practice as an associate dentist.

In 2013, Paul decided that he would like to run his own dental practice. In Autumn 2014, Paul launched Derwent Dental Care (formally Helen Siddle LTD), hopefully allowing him to provide high quality dental care in a relaxed and friendly setting for the next 25 years!

In addition to providing all aspects of general dental care, Paul also accepts referrals from local dentists for Root Canal Treatments. He is currently working towards an MSc in Endodontics and this extra training allows Paul to treat more complex cases. An operating microscope provides up to 20x magnification, providing excellent visualisation of the complex root canal anatomy.

Away from the practice, Paul enjoys going on adventures in the lake district with his wife and 2 young children. He sometimes manages to get out rock climbing or cycling (There are not enough days in the week at the moment!!)
